Ramez Jamali was born in Peshawar, Pakistan. He started his career as a professional cricket player, but after a career ending injury he came to the United States where he began painting with his uncle, world renowned artist, Jamali. Like Jamali, he creates figurative and abstract compositions using vivid pigments and layered textures, but adds his own signature and style to the pieces. His distinctive use of bright colors and bold shapes defines him as an artist.
